Dundee United's new chairman says his main priority is to keep manager Craig Levein at Tannadice.
Speaking after succeeding his late father Eddie in the role, Stephen Thompson said Levein had been superb since becoming United boss in 2006.
"I know Craig's happy here and he's allowed to get on with the job. He's got a good relationship with the fans and they love him," Thompson said.
"I want to keep Craig here for as long as I can."
Thompson's appointment was confirmed at a board meeting on Friday.
