Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll says striker Billy Sharp needs to channel his frustrations better.
Sharp, 26, lost his temper with a number of his team-mates during the 5-0 FA Cup defeat at Wolves on Tuesday.
O'Driscoll told BBC Radio Sheffield: "When he gets frustrated with things and he takes it out on the opposition's two centre halves he is fantastic.
"When he gets frustrated and takes it out on our team, then he needs to keep playing for us."
He added: "That is what we want from him. We need players to stay positive."
