Doncaster Rovers sign Bohemians midfielder Paul Keegan
Keegan played for a League of Ireland side against Man Utd in the summer
Doncaster have signed Irish midfielder Paul Keegan from Bohemians on a contract until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.
He earned a deal after impressing while on trial at the end of last year.
Keegan, 26, came through the youth ranks at Leeds and had a loan spell at Scunthorpe before leaving Elland Road without making a senior appearance.
He returned to Ireland in 2005 and had a spell at Drogheda United before joining Bohs in 2009.
Keegan scored six goals in 66 League of Ireland Premier Division appearances for Bohemians, helping the club to win back-to-back league titles for the first time in their history.
He is ineligible to figure in Tuesday's FA Cup third round replay against Wolves at Molineux but could make his debut in the Championship clash with Ipswich on Saturday.
