Doncaster Rovers have extended the contract of striker Waide Fairhurst to keep him at the club until 2012.
The former Rovers trainee scored on his first-team debut in their Championship defeat by West Brom last season.
The 21-year-old went on to feature in 10 games before being loaned out to League Two side Shrewsbury Town.
He scored in his first game for the Shrews and went on to net four in 10 appearances before a foot injury hampered the rest of his season.
