Wright has made just one Premiership appearance this season |
Doncaster have signed Sheffield United defender Alan Wright on a month's loan. The 35-year-old will be needed at left-back after Rovers lost Wales international Gareth Roberts for at least four weeks with a torn hamstring.
Wright has made 620 league and cup appearances in a lengthy career that has seen him serve eight clubs.
He has made just two appearances for United this season, played one game on loan at Leeds in October and recently had a seven-game loan spell at Cardiff.
Blades boss Neil Warnock said: "I'm pleased to be able to help Doncaster, who have an exciting run-in.
"Alan did well at Cardiff, and I'm sure he'll be an asset for our South Yorkshire neighbours."
