Hunt was a Bolton trainee

Derby County have extended defender Nicky Hunt's loan deal from Bolton Wanderers until the end of the season.

Hunt, 26, initially joined for a month in early January and has played three games for Nigel Clough's side.

Clough told the club's website: "Nicky has been tremendous for us and we are delighted he is staying. He'll only get better with the more games he plays."

Hunt fell out of favour under former Trotters manager Gary Megson and has not played this season.
