Leacock has not played since early December

Derby County defender Dean Leacock will be out of action for another month as he struggles to recover from a knee injury, reports BBC Radio Derby.

Leacock has been sidelined with bruising to his kneecap since the game against Preston North End in December.

But boss Nigel Clough could see fellow centre-half Shaun Barker return from his latest spell on the sidelines for the reserves next week.

Barker has been plagued by a thigh injury but is nearing a comeback.
