Derby County manager Nigel Clough says he wants to add to his squad before this Saturday's FA Cup tie at Millwall.

Robbie Savage and Jay McEveley are both suspended, while Jake Livermore has returned to Spurs, and Fredrik Stoor to Fulham, after their loan spells.

Strikers DJ Campbell and Paul Dickov could extend their loan spells from Leicester but Clough still wants more.

Clough told BBC Radio Derby: "We're going to try and get two or three loans in if we can, in different positions."

The Derby boss also has to contend with injuries to key defenders Shaun Barker and Dean Leacock.

But striker Luke Varney has returned from a spell with Sheffield Wednesday.

Derby go into the New Year in 18th in the Championship table - exactly where they were when Clough took charge almost a year ago, on 6 January.
