Derby County will unveil a bust of legendary player Steve Bloomer shortly before kick-off at Saturday's home game against Queens Park Rangers.
The unveiling ceremony at 1445 GMT will mark the start of the club's 125th anniversary celebrations.
The bronze sculpture, by artist Andrew Edwards, will sit on a plinth of bricks from the old Baseball Ground and will be placed near the home dug-out.
The club's anthem, Steve Bloomer's Watchin', is played at every home game.
He became a coach after his playing career ended and died in 1938 at the age of 64.
