Derby boss Paul Jewell is relieved to have finally got his first league win in 10 months at the club, Saturday's 2-1 victory over Sheffield United.
Jewell told BBC Radio Derby: "I'm delighted for the supporters and the chairman as well as the players because we've been through terrible times.
"But I'm not getting carried away because it is only one game."
The Rams' last league victory was their 1-0 win over Newcastle at home on 17 September 2007.
But, having avoided the embarrassment of going a whole year without a league win, Derby can now look forward to Tuesday night's trip to Swansea with renewed confidence.
"It all bodes well for the future," said Jewell. "We're never going to play silky football at the moment.
"We've got to scrap, we've got to fight and we did that against Sheffield United."
