Robbie Savage has said he is determined to win over the Derby County fans who were booing him in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Bristol City.
The Rams took their first point of the campaign at Ashton Gate.
Savage told BBC Radio Derby: "The one thing that upsets you when you're trying your best is being booed by Derby fans.
"They pay their money and are entitled to their opinion, but it makes me more determined to win them over."
Savage's absence from a couple of Derby's pre-season games sparked speculation about his future at Pride Park, but manager Paul Jewell insisted there was no truth to rumours the midfielder was on his way out.
However, Jewell has stressed no one's place is guaranteed in the first 11 this season.
