Derby County have signed Stockport County striker Liam Dickinson for 750,000, reports BBC Radio Derby.
The Hatters turned down an initial bid of 250,000 but the Rams upped their offer for the 22-year-old.
Dickinson scored 21 goals last season and played a huge part in helping County win promotion from League Two.
He told BBC Radio Derby: "Two-and-half years ago I was playing in non-league so to get to the Championship with a massive club like Derby is unreal."
Dickinson becomes Derby's ninth signing of a hectic summer and he admits the jump from League Two to Championship football will not be easy.

"I've just got to take it one step at a time and do my best," he said.
"Stockport gave me a massive opportunity but it's all about belief and if you believe in yourself then you can do it."
