Bryson has impressed Derby boss Billy Davies while on trial |
Derby boss Billy Davies hopes to hold talks with Clyde midfielder Craig Bryson, who has impressed him during a week's trial at the Championship club. The 20-year-old will be out of contract with the Cumbernauld club this summer.
"The young man has fantastic energy and has mixed in with the group very well," Davies told the Rams' website.
"We'll speak to the club and sit down with Craig, have a good conversation with regards to the future, and make the decision from there."
Clyde have already lost captain Paul McHale to Scottish Division One rivals Dundee during the January transfer window.
And speculation suggests that wing-back Eddie Malone could depart Broadwood in the summer.

But it prompted Clyde player-manager Joe Miller to tell explain in the club website that such departures were inevitable at the cash-strapped club.
"Some have to make decisions whether to continue to work hard and succeed with Clyde or await a team from a higher level to come in for them, or go sideways or worse for some extra money," he said.
"We can't compete financially with other clubs, that is the reality, but we offer players a platform to progress."
However, Miller stressed that Northern Ireland Under-21 wing-back Michael McGowan, goalkeeper David Hutton, defenders Craig McKeown and Chris Higgins, midfielder Stevie Masterton and strikers Dougie Imrie and Sean McKenna had signed on already for next season.
"We've also added a proven goalscorer in Alex Williams," said Miller.
"We need to look at the bigger picture and take pride in what has been achieved."
Miller added that he had several players on trial with the club who could be signed during January.
