Craig Bryson scored as Clyde beat Celtic last season |
Derby County have decided not to pursue their interest in Clyde midfielder Craig Bryson. The 20-year-old, out of contract in the summer, spent a week on trial with Billy Davies' Championship leaders.
"Billy Davies was impressed with both the ability and the enthusiasm shown by Craig during his time there," said Bryson's agent Kevin Drinkell.
"It's disappointing for Craig but there is still interest in him from other Scottish clubs."
Bryson came to the fore last year when he scored as Clyde knocked Celtic out of the Scottish Cup.
Drinkell added: "The biggest problem for Billy is that Derby don't have the facility of a reserve team where the player could develop and be brought up to Championship standard."
