Darlington manager Mark Cooper has said he would be happy to use players from the club's youth team within his first-team set-up.
Craig Liddle's Quakers Juniors reached the FA Youth Cup third round this season and have a League Cup semi-final against Wigan later this month.
"We're not averse to throwing the young kids in," Cooper told BBC Tees.
"Craig's done a magnificent job with the youth team, and he's a big part of what we're trying to do."
Cooper added: "You've seen that with Dan Burn coming into the team and Dan Grey coming into the squad. Burn was tremendous on Saturday.
"Sometimes with young lads you can get a little bit of inconsistency, but you have to use them sparingly to start with."
