Dagenham and Redbridge have brought in Wayne Burnett as assistant manager to replace Robbie Garvey.
Burnett finished the season as youth team coach at Leyton Orient having left his managerial role at Grays Athletic by mutual consent in January.
Burnett's playing career included spells with Blackburn and Bolton.
Garvey was appointed Braintree Town manager in April although he retained his duties with the Daggers until the end of the season.
Burnett will assist Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still.
