Brighton midfielder Doug Loft has joined Dagenham & Redbridge on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old has made 42 appearances for the Seagulls since joining the club from non-league side Hastings United in January 2006.

Daggers manager John Still told the club website: "I'm absolutely delighted to have signed Doug, he's someone that I have wanted to get for a while.

Loft has made nine appearances for the League One side this season.
