Strevens missed a late chance to secure a draw with Darlington

Dagenham & Redbridge striker Ben Strevens feels they have lost several points through questionable refereeing decisions this season.

The Daggers lost 1-0 to Darlington on Saturday, thanks to a goal which he felt was 'two-or-three yards off-side'.

Strevens told BBC Essex: "We're still very confident we'll be up there in the mix come the end of the season.

"But it's a little frustrating that a few decisions have cost us about six-to-eight points now."

The results leaves the Daggers one place and two points shy of a League Two play-off place.

But Strevens said they would not allow the defeat to derail their promotion push.

"We're certainly growing in confidence and Saturday's result won't take us away from that," he said.
