Dagenham & Redbridge have completed the double signing of Fisher Athletic striker Wesley Thomas and Southend United midfielder Peggy Lokando.

Thomas, 21, has agreed a three-year contract with the Daggers, with defender Michael Alailie moving in the opposite direction on a month's loan.

Meanwhile, Lokando, 18, has arrived at Victoria Road on a month's loan after training with the club since Thursday.

Southend are hoping the Lokando will gain valuable first-team experience.

The former Arsenal trainee signed a two-year professional contract with Southend at the start of last season.

But he has made only one first-team appearance, coming on as a substitute in a 2-0 Carling Cup win over Watford.
