Dagenham and Redbridge striker Paul Benson has agreed a new deal with the Conference leaders. Benson has signed a 12-month extension to his current contract to keep him at Victoria Road until June 2009.
The 25?year-old turned down a trial at Southend when he joined from Essex local league side White Ensign in 2005.
So far this season Benson has scored 18 goal, 16 of those goals in the Conferencel to put John Still's side top of the table.
