Dagenham & Redbridge have signed striker Paul Benson from Southend-based Essex Intermediate League side White Ensign, reports BBC Essex. The 25-year-old has signed a two-year contract at Victoria Road.
Benson played for Southend's reserves earlier this year and had been invited back for pre-season - but opted to sign for the Daggers instead.
He joins recent signings Tresor Kandol, Sam Saunders and Rambir Marwa, who have also moved up to the Conference club.
