Crystal Palace sign Everton's James Vaughan on loan
Vaughan was 16 years old when he scored against Palace in 2005
Crystal Palace have secured the services of Everton striker James Vaughan on a three-month loan deal.
The 22-year-old, who was also being chased by Derby County, is available for Saturday's league trip to Reading.
Vaughan has been plagued by knee and shoulder problems in the past two seasons and has failed to win a regular first-team slot at Goodison Park.
The Everton academy product spent spells on loan with Derby and Leicester City last season.
Vaughan, who became the Premier League's youngest goalscorer when he netted against Palace in 2005, has been unable to displace Louis Saha and Jermaine Beckford in the first team this season.
