Andrew scored four goals for Luton last season

Crystal Palace have completed the signing of young Luton Town striker Calvin Andrew, for a fee believed to be around �80,000.

The 21-year-old made his debut for the Eagles during a 4-3 friendly win over Aldershot on Thursday evening.

Andrew made 67 appearances for the Hatters, scoring six goals.

"We've signed Calvin now, but it's nothing like the �400,000 that's been reported," Palace manager Neil Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser.

The Republic of Ireland international turned down a new contract with the South London side.

"We are pleased to have him because we don't have anybody like him in the squad," added Warnock.

Plymouth failed in a bid for the youngster in January.
