Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan is prepared to put aside his differences with Ron Noades to buy Selhurst Park. Noades retained ownership of the ground when he sold Palace in 1998.
But Jordan told BBC London 94.9: "My relationship with Ron has not been perfect. He is a bully and I do not like bullies.
"But I want to put aside the issues that we have with each other and try and do a deal which will let the club advance and let me buy the stadium."
Noades' ownership of the ground has prevented Jordan from developing the facilities at Selhurst Park, as the two men have been at loggerheads.
However, Jordan believes he needs to either buy Selhurst Park or find a new home for Palace before the lease runs out in five years' time and the former is his preferred option.
