Thordarson took over as Crewe boss in December

Crewe boss Gudjon Thordarson has been shortlisted for League Two's manager of the month award for February.

Thordarson's side won four of their five games during the month, with their only defeat coming at Leyton Orient.

He told BBC Radio Stoke: "It would be nice but the biggest reward would be if we complete the mission of keeping Crewe in the league."

The shortlist also includes Southend's Steve Tilson, Chris Hutchings of Walsall and Hereford's Graham Turner.
