Steve Holland admitted he was upset after a section of Crewe fans called for his sacking during the 2-2 draw against MK Dons on Saturday.
A banner reading 'Holland Out' was displayed before kick-off.
First-team coach Holland told BBC Radio Stoke: "I didn't enjoy it, but I didn't think it was out of order in any shape or form.
"My intention is to work hard, so that one day there's a flag in there saying 'Well done Steve' on it."
He added: "The crowd's support of the team was very good, but I don't expect them to be happy with how the team are doing.
"I'm the manager, we're not getting good results, and you have to take what comes with that."
Crewe are 22nd in League One, with just two wins and eight points after 11 matches.
They go to second-bottom Yeovil Town on Tuesday, and Holland is keen for his side to get their first win since 13 September.
"It's a big week, with Yeovil on Tuesday and then Tranmere on Friday," said Holland.
"We should be fairly well-equipped to handle the week that we've got, and it would have been nice to go into the Yeovil game on the back of a win, which I thought we deserved."
