Baudet joined Crewe from Notts County in June 2006
Crewe captain Julien Baudet has said it will require a big effort from the whole squad to improve the Alex's league position.
The Railwaymen currently lie 23rd in League One, having picked up just seven points from their opening 10 games.
Baudet told BBC Radio Stoke: "We need all 20 or 25 players in the squad to take charge.
"We know we are not in a good situation, we haven't had a good start to the season so we have to work hard."
Crewe's only two league victories of the season have come at home, with the Alex picking up just one point from five games on their travels.
"We started the season looking like a decent team at home," said Baudet.
"But now we've lost our last two home games, against Southend and Northampton, so it's a case of one step forwards and two steps back."
After making it to the third round of the Carling Cup, the Alex travelled to Anfield for a glamour-tie with Premier League giants Liverpool, losing 2-1.
"We had a decent cup run, but you don't get any points for that," said Baudet.
"If we could have swapped the game at Liverpool for five or six more league points then we would have taken that."
