Crawley Town manager Steve Evans and assistant manager Paul Raynor have signed new three-year contracts with the League Two club.

The duo led the Sussex side to the Blue Square Bet Premier title last season.

Evans said: "We are grateful to the board of directors for having such faith in us.

"The detail was all agreed a while back but I wanted to ensure we won promotion and had our new squad in place before we completed the formalities."

He continued: "This club has given itself a real chance of making progress."

Meanwhile, first-team coach Craig Brewster and physio Mark Stein have signed two-year deals.

Reds chairman Vic Marley added: "Securing the services of Steve Evans, Paul Raynor and their appointed staff was very important to us and the business.

"I am delighted that they are with us for some time to come."
