Crawley Town have strengthened their defence after bringing in Adam Quinn from Halifax Town for a "small fee".
The centre-back, who has signed a one-year deal, was not registered in time to play against Lewes on Tuesday.
But Reds boss Steve Evans told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "Adam was fit to play but he could do with a couple more days training to get sharper.
"Just wait till we have him, Chris Giles, Jamie Cook, Isaiah Rankin and Steve Fletcher all in the team."
