Crawley Town have signed French midfielder Thomas Pinault, reports BBC Southern Counties Radio. The 25-year-old was with Brentford last season and has also had spells at Grimsby and Colchester.
Pinault joined the Mariners in July 2004 after leaving the U's after five years at Layer Road where he made 157 appearances, scoring seven goals.
The Frenchman joined Brentford in July 2006 but was released by the London club at the end of the season.
