Eastwood's first home goal was just his third of the season

Coventry City striker Freddy Eastwood says he is relieved to have finally scored at the Ricoh Arena.

Eastwood netted for the Sky Blues in their 2-2 draw with Ipswich on Saturday, only his third for the club since joining from Wolves.

The Wales international told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "It took far too long. I thought it was never going to come.

"I've broken my duck now. Hopefully it'll be the first of many."

City's stand-in skipper Clinton Morrison also scored and was one of the first to congratulate his team-mate.

Eastwood added: "Clinton knows I've had a hard time. He had it earlier on in the season.

"We know we're a good strike partnership now because we give each other plenty of confidence. Every time we get the ball we're looking for each other in the box."
