Coventry's Iceland international Aron Gunnarsson says he is coping well with the recent wintry temperatures.
The 19-year-old midfielder has missed just one match this season and admits the cold conditions in England are nothing compared to what he is used to.
Gunnarsson told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "It's warm for me.
"I called my father and he told me there was snow in Iceland so I'm just happy being in England and getting to play on normal grass."
He continued: "My old friends are training on artificial grass in a big hall and I don't care if I have to take an ice bath after the game."
Gunnarsson, who joined City from AZ Alkmaar in the summer, has started every match he has featured in.
Although Gunnarsson is yet to score for the Sky Blues, the midfielder hit the woodwork in the draw with Derby at the weekend.
"I thought it was in in the first half. I'll just have to score in the next game," Gunnarsson said.
He will get another chance to do that when the Sky Blues visit Southampton on Tuesday 28 October.
