Colchester United have released defenders Lee Beevers and Conor Powell as they re-shape their squad ahead of a fourth season in League One.
Beevers, 27, spent two years with the U's but was limited in first team chances largely because of injury.
Powell, 23, signed for the club from Bohemians in January but made just two starts in his five-month spell.
Colchester also announced last week that winger Simon Hackney would leave the club this summer.
And at the end of April, Sam Corcoran, Medy Elito and Morten Knudsen were told they would not be kept on.
