Three of Chesterfield's young players have signed extended contracts with the League Two club.
Defender Dan Gray, 19, who has made 12 appearances this season, has signed a new 18-month deal, keeping him at Saltergate until June 2010.
Forwards Ben Algar and Scott Boden, also both 19, have agreed fresh terms until the end of the season.
Boss Lee Richardson said: "Dan Gray has taken his chance and has already shown he is worthy of a longer-term deal."
He added: "Ben Algar and Scott Boden are being given more time to show what they have to offer as I am not averse to selecting any young player in the side if they are delivering the goods in training."
