League Two side Chesterfield have ended their interest in Crystal Palace goalkeeper Scott Flinders.
The 22-year-old, who played for the Spireites in last Friday's friendly against Matlock Town, is considered too expensive by boss Lee Richardson.
"I don't think anything will be happening with Scott," Richardson told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"I've spoken to Palace and they are still adamant that they want a some of money that is unrealistic for us."
