Chesterfield have confirmed they have turned down a �100,000 bid from Brighton for midfielder Peter Leven. The Seagulls also had a �50,000 offer for the 24-year-old Scot rejected earlier in the week, as revealed by BBC Southern Counties.
Leven can operate on the left side of midfield or as a full-back.
The former Rangers and Kilmarnock man joined the Spireites last summer on a one-year deal and has scored three times in 30 appearances this season.
