Davies has returned to fill his previous role at the Deva
Former Chester City manager Simon Davies has returned to the club as youth team manager.
Davies, 34, was replaced by Mark Wright last month following Chester's 3-0 defeat to Millwall in the FA Cup.
"Unfortunately it didn't work out for Simon when he was in charge of the first-team," said Chester City owner Stephen Vaughan.
"He functioned extremely well when he was overseeing the youth set-up and I know we will see it flourish again."
The former Manchester United midfielder was previously in charge of City's youth team until March before his elevation to first-team manager following Bobby Williamson's sacking.
