Chester boss Simon Davies has said his side were unfortunate to lose 3-0 to Millwall in the first round of the FA Cup at the Deva Stadium on Saturday.

Lewis Grabban, Neil Harris and Ashley Grimes scored the visitors goals late on to knock City out of the Cup.

Davies told BBC Radio Merseyside: "I thought in the first half we definitely matched them.

"They hung on, to a certain degree and were probably relying on their quality to come through."
