Spencer is yet to score for the Robins this season.

Cheltenham Town will be without Damian Spencer for the Christmas period after the striker picked up a knee injury.

The 27-year-old landed awkwardly after receiving a boot to the face during the second half of the Robins' 0-0 draw with Walsall on Saturday.

The injury is not related to the long-term knee problem that prevented Spencer from joining Crewe last year.

Spencer joins Drissa Diallo on the injury list after the defender suffered ligament damage in training last week.
