Diallo was a regular for MK Dons last season

Cheltenham Town have taken defender Drissa Diallo on loan from League One rivals Milton Keynes Dons.

The 35-year-old has previously worked under new Cheltenham boss Martin Allen when he joined the Dons in 2006.

Allen told his club's website: "Drissa is a strong, competitive defender and will be a valuable addition for us."

Diallo will go into the squad to face Millwall on Saturday and, after Scott Murray, is Allen's second loan signing in his first week in charge.
