Forward Ashley Vincent has signed a new deal to extend his Cheltenham career.
Manager Keith Downing told BBC Radio Gloucestershire that the 23-year-old, who had been out of contract, could win around doubting fans.
"It's funny, you get a lot of supporters [asking] is he good enough? There's more to come from Ash.
"The boy's had a cruciate injury and he's a young one as well. He's still growing, getting bigger, better and stronger," Downing said.

Vincent scored Cheltenham's goal in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Bristol City at Whaddon Road.
"What I liked was that he showed a little more composure, took his goal well and showed good movement," said Downing.
"Obviously Paul [Connor] and Ashley need some competition up there and we're working hard to give them that."
