Cheltenham Town striker Damian Spencer could be out for the last four matches of the season with a knee injury.

The 26-year-old may face surgery later this week after struggling to play 15 minutes as a substitute on Saturday.

But Town manager Keith Downing has told BBC Radio Gloucestershire that he is hopeful midfielder Alex Russell may return against Walsall on Saturday.

"He's probably only had half a week's training, hopefully a full week will put him into contention for Walsall."
