Striker Steve Brooker is determined to prove he is not injury prone as he battles back from two knee operations. Brooker has been loaned to Cheltenham by Bristol City in a bid to get back to full match fitness and has made seven starts since moving to Whaddon Road.
He told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "It seems I'm not allowed to get knocks and niggles from playing games.
"If it's someone else it's just a knock and they will be back in the next game. That doesn't apply to me any more."
He added: "If I get a niggle it seems to be the thing to say 'Brooks has broken down again'.
"It wasn't my choice to have two knee operations so it's not as if I've been throwing one in."
