Brooker, who has made seven appearances for Cheltenham, will now remain at Whaddon Road until 11 March, although City can recall him at 24 hours notice.

"I'm extremely pleased that Steve will be staying with us for another month," said Cheltenham boss Keith Downing.

"He has made a big contribution since he has been here and his fitness is improving all the time."
