Downing, whose side lost 2-1 in an FA Cup first-round replay at Brighton on Tuesday, said: "I'm looking at wide areas and up front.

"I'm hoping to get one or two players in to make it a bit more competitive for the boys and freshen things up.

"We're disappointed about the Brighton result but given the players we had unavailable, we gave it a good go."
