Charlton sign defender Rhoys Wiggins from Bournemouth
Wiggins had made 72 appearances for Bournemouth over three spells
Charlton have completed the signing of defender Rhoys Wiggins from Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old left-back becomes the Addicks' ninth addition of the summer transfer window.
Wiggins told the club website: "I know the owners have invested in the squad this summer and I've seen the signings that have gone on prior to this move.
"So I'm looking forward to getting the season under way and pushing to get into the Championship."
Wiggins began as a trainee with Crystal Palace before joining the Cherries on loan and then signing for Norwich in July 2009 before heading back to Dean Court last summer.
The Welshman is excited about the propsect of playing for what will be his fourth club.
"With the player's they're bringing in, the vibe I got from the place was of a club on the way up," he continued.
"And the prospect of hopefully getting promotion is something to put in your cap as well. I'm looking forward to what lies ahead."
