Charlton sign West Ham striker Frank Nouble on loan
Nouble was an unused sub for Swindon against Charlton in last term's play-offs
Injury-hit Charlton Athletic have found a temporary solution to their striker shortage by bringing in Frank Nouble on loan from West Ham United.
Nouble, 19, arrives at Charlton only 24 hours after Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dean Parrett, also 19, made a loan switch across London.
Both are in the squad for Saturday's League One London derby with Brentford.
Charlton have lost three strikers in the last month and were in need of a boost as they chase a play-offs place.
Paul Benson has been served with a four-game ban following his second red card of the year in the 2-0 defeat at Milton Keynes Dons on Tuesday.
Joe Anyinsah is out with an ankle injury and Pawel Abbott has returned to Poland.
Former England Under-19 international Nouble, who has previously been out on loan with West Bromwich Albion, Swindon Town, Swansea City and Barnsley, has signed initially on a 28-day loan.
Meanwhile, Parrett, who has had loan spells at Aldershot and Plymouth, has moved to The Valley until the end of the season.
Charlton now have six players on loan, including another West Ham man, defender Matt Fry, who is in his second spell.
The Addicks also have Federico Bessone (Leeds United), Neil Etheridge (Fulham) and Nathan Eccleston (Liverpool) - but only five are permitted in a matchday squad.
