Charlton goalkeeper Nicky Weaver will undergo a scan on his knee after sustaining an injury in the warm-up against Brighton.

The 29-year-old tweaked his knee when his studs got caught in the pitch at the Withdean Stadium.

Boss Alan Pardew told BBC London 94.9: "Nicky did his knee in the warm-up and we'll have to assess the scan results.

"He's had a really good pre-season so it's a really big blow for us, but we're hoping it isn't too bad."
