Svetoslav Todorov has signed a new one-year deal with Charlton Athletic.

The Bulgarian international striker, 29, last played for Charlton in October against Plymouth and missed the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Addicks manager Alan Pardew said: "I know he wants to prove to Charlton fans that he can make a big contribution to the club."

Charlton recently handed skipper Matt Holland a new deal and snapped up Mark Hudson from Crystal Palace.
