Le Havre striker Amadou Alassane is hoping a week-long trial in Glasgow can lead to a move to Celtic.
The 26-year-old has been linked with Hull and the recently relegated French club are looking for a fee in the region of £1m.
"I am in Scotland to begin a trial with Celtic," said Alassane, who moved to Le Havre from the amateur ranks.
"It's a fantastic opportunity for me to show a great club what I can do and I want to leave here with no regrets."
The tall forward has scored 20 league goals since breaking into the Le Harve first team in 2006.
Celtic manager Tony Mowbray has already captured striker Marc-Antoine Fortune from Nancy, who have also loaned midfielder Landry N'Guemo to the Glasgow club.
